Well I'm lazy so lugging around the bags of salt sucks.
Neither system I've had remembers its settings when power is lost. So it goes into some default setting that I expect regenerates way to much. I need to find the manual, the water hardness, and with a big marker write the settings on the tank.
Maybe there as good as the next, but about every 2 years, They have to come and replace $200- $250 in parts and labor due to the pistons getting stuck and ripping the plastic teeth off drum.
