The Katadyn KFT Expedition Water Filter is a great portable water filter for all my camping needs.

This lightweight, versatile filter can work through gallons of water in just minutes, so it's great for my base camp use.

This water filter is great for me because I do lots of base camping.

This does not filter many bad-tasting agents from the water. However, since it filters out almost all particulate matter, it will often leave water better-tasting as well as healthier. It filters out over 99 percent of all bacteria and other microorganisms that cause water-borne illness.

It is very simple to use. It's really awesome. I love it. A couple people in a group can pump enough water for the entire group in a very small amount of time, no matter where you're at.

This filter purifies water more quickly and effectively than many other base camp pumps on the market. I've used many other filters but I found out that this one is the best.
